About Sathi India

Sathi has started its journey on 28th day of June, 2019 in the name of SATHI WELFARE SOCIETY as a trust. Thereafter, on 29th day of October, 2021 it got registered as a Non-Profitable Section-8 Microfinance company in the name of SATHIINDIA MICRO SERVICE FOUNDATION under Company's Act, 2013 licensed by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India.

The company has founded to help eradicate poverty and provide good education and good health for all. The main objectives of the company are to provide microfinance services in the form of Joint Liability Group Loan to poor women and individually to small entrepreneurship to the poor especially rural and semi-rural people for income generating without any collateral security to poverty alleviation and women empowerment.

Sathi provides Skill development training to the local women who are interested in and have the entrepreneurship skills to start their small businesses. Sathi is also committed to mainstream the underprivileged children. As on date SATHI has disbursed more than 2500 loans. Company has provided sewing machines to poor women to start up their business. SATHI also focused in Solar Products for the generation of electricity in deep rural areas of West Bengal.

As a Section 8 Microfinance Company, Sathi can play a significant role for promoting rural development. Our vision is "where dreams of poor become true". SATHI has grown bit by bit due to his determination, commitment, hard work and very honest application towards his overall work and this is impossible if the clients do not believe in our commitment to them.

This organization priorities area Women Empowerment, Education, Health, Water and Sanitation, Sustainable development and agriculture, environment and disaster response and others activities.

The organization has been rendering its dedicated services to the poor & under privileged people in 3 districts of the state of West Bengal for six years continuously and has a plan to expand the programme to its neighboring Districts and states. Presently the organization has concentrated on the alternative livelihood & economic development, women empowerment and integrated child welfare programme and providing loans to women from Economically Weaker Sections.

With encouragement and appreciation from you all, the society is now poised to expand its area of operations across West Bengal and cater to those who do not have access to traditional banking, with an objective to promote self-employment and financial inclusion.

• Provide small financial services, education, health, to increase cohesion among the rural, semi-rural & urban people through training of JLG group members.
• Ensure income generation through alternative means other than traditional agriculture.
• Help people to live a clean and dignified life by providing safe drinking water and toilet facilities and solar system for stable electricity supply to individual households.
• Provide adequate care to children of working parents by running cr?ches with all facilities.
• Enhance human security through livelihoods through capacity building in various work-oriented sectors like poultry, agriculture, improved facilities for kitchen gardens, fisheries, animal husbandry, sewing and embroidery.
• Disaster response to the priority list.
• Support the poor women of rural as well as urban segments with small financial services in Agriculture and MSME Trade and improving their capacities for sustainable development.
• Reduce poverty through economic activities with providing different types of skill, vocational & entrepreneurship Training to women, youth and other people from disadvantageous communities.
• Improve the health and educational status of the poor children, women and their community as whole through appropriate programme services.
• Empower the women and minorities for their economic development and restoring their fundamental rights.
• Protect environment and combat with deforestation through awareness program and plantation.
• Form and promote Self Help Groups for socio-economic development.
• Provide opportunity to the poor specially youth, women for their self-employment.
• Give importance in financial inclusion.
