Sathi has started its journey on 28th day of June, 2019 in the name of SATHI WELFARE SOCIETY as a trust. Thereafter, on 29th day of October, 2021 it got registered as a Non- Profitable Section- 8 Microfinance company in the name of SATHIINDIA MICRO SERVICE FOUNDATION under company’s Act, 2013 licensed by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India. The company has founded to help eradicate poverty and provide good education and good health for all. The main objectives of the company are to provide microfinance services in the form of Joint Liability Group Loan to poor women and individually to small entrepreneurship to the poor especially rural and semi-rural people for income generating without any collateral security to poverty alleviation and women empowerment. Sathi provides Skill development training to the local women who are interested in and have the entrepreneurship skills to start their small businesses. Sathi is also committed to mainstream the underprivileged children. As on date SATHI has disbursed more than 2500 loans .Company has provided sewing machines to poor women to start up their business. SATHI also focused in Solar Products for the generation of electricity in deep rural areas of West Bengal. As a Section 8 Microfinance Company, Sathi can play a significant role for promoting rural development. Our vision is "where dreams of poor become true". SATHI has grown bit by bit due to his determination, commitment, hard work and very honest application towards his overall work and this is impossible if the clients do not believe in our commitment to them. At the outset we would like to express our sincere thanks to all clients, lenders, and well-wishers for their continued support. Sincere thanks to all our staff members for their hard work, commitment and dedication. This organization is priorities area Women Empowerment, Education, Health, Water and Sanitation, Sustainable development and agriculture, environment and disaster response and others activities. The organization has been rendering its dedicated services to the poor & under privileged people in 3 districts of the state of West Bengal for six years continuously and has a plan to expand the programme to its neighboring Districts and states. Presently the organization has concentrated on the alternative livelihood & economic development, women empowerment and integrated child welfare programme and providing loans to women from Economically Weaker Sections. With encouragement and appreciation from you all, the society is now poised to expand its area of operations across West Bengal and cater to those who do not have access to traditional banking, with an objective to promote self-employment and financial inclusion.
